Swift Networks commences key mining projects

Swift has commenced delivery of seven new projects across Australia’s mining industry including with Rio Tinto, Roy Hill, Strandline, OZ Minerals and South32.

The new projects will see Swift upgrading and installing its various network solutions in Western Australia and Queensland which have been designed and deployed by Swift’s in-house team.

The projects represent $1.2 million in total contract value for Swift and complement their recent $3.5 million Roy Hill and $2.9 million INPEX entertainment and communications contract wins.

“These new projects not only represent an increase in project activity but are the result of long-standing relationships between Swift and mining sector clients,” Swift chief executive officer Brian Mangano said.

“The relationships have been maintained by the talent and expertise of our entire team from sales to in-house network engineers, delivery, installation specialists and support teams, and we are excited to see the positive impact that these upgrades have on our clients and their workforces.”

Swift is a specialist technology company delivering network infrastructure and premium entertainment and communications across mining and resources, residential aged care, retirement living, government and other sectors.
