Sedgman has won the contract for the engineering of a relocatable modular mineral sands plant.
Valued at $18.5 million, the contract sees Sedgman provide front end engineering design, fabrication, construction, and metallurgical test work development for the wet concentrator plant at Twin Pines Minerals' New Jersey facility in the US.
Once complete the facility will process around 232 tonnes per hour of heavy mineral sands from the existing tailings deposit.
The contract follows similar work Sedgman carried out for TPM including FEED and metallurgical test work.
According to Sedgman this win is an important step for the company back into the US, where it was active until 2006.
