Regis buoyed by ‘significant pipeline’ of WA exploration prospects

Regis Resources has confirmed significant growth opportunities across its Duketon and Tropicana gold projects in Western Australia.

The company said it holds a “significant pipeline” of opportunities with over 100 exploration prospects and targets in progress aimed at advancing both underground and open pit targets to improve geological confidence across key areas of growth.

Drilling at the Duketon gold project continues to extend underground mineralisation, supporting the company’s strategy to operate multiple long-life underground mines. New prospects such as Ben Hur add further optionality, while additional targets across Duketon and Tropicana strengthen the pipeline.

Consistent reserve growth, combined with a debt-free balance sheet and substantial cash reserves, enables Regis to actively fund exploration and development. These results underscore a disciplined, multi-asset approach aimed at sustaining production and expanding resources over the long term.

Recent exploration at Garden Well has identified extensions of underground mineralisation, strengthening its role as a core growth asset within the Duketon project – containing between 9–18 million tonnes at 2.3–2.9 grams per tonne of gold for 0.8–1.3 million ounces of gold.

“Our exploration teams continue to deliver solid progress across the business. The work completed over the past six months has strengthened our understanding of the underground growth pipeline at Duketon and confirmed further extensions at Tropicana,” Regis Resources managing director Jim Beyer said.

“The team’s systematic approach is building confidence by providing a steady flow of opportunities to support future studies, reserve conversion and long-term mine life planning.”

Exploration efforts are described as encouraging and underlines the company’s portfolio as drilling continues throughout the next year, with the company having already delivered five consecutive years of underground ore reserve growth.
