Regis Resources has closed 2025–26 financial year (FY26) with $1.21 billion in cash and bullion after a strong final quarter pushed annual gold production to the top end of guidance.
The Australian gold producer delivered 379,000oz for the year against guidance of 350,000–380,000oz. June quarter production rose 12 per cent from the previous three months to 101,500oz, generating $284 million in underlying cash and bullion.
Cash and bullion holdings increased by $692 million over FY26 despite $151 million in dividend payments and $156 million in tax.
Regis paid a $114 million dividend in April and $64 million in tax during the quarter, while higher-than-usual additional diesel fuel costs exceeded $25 million.
Duketon remained Regis’ biggest source of gold, producing 236,000oz from its operations in Western Australia’s north-eastern Goldfields. The result landed within its 220,000–240,000oz guidance range, with 62,500oz produced in the June quarter.
Regis’ 30 per cent share of the Tropicana gold mine contributed 143,100oz for FY26, beating the top of its 130,000–140,000oz guidance range. The operation added 39,100oz to group production in the final quarter.
All-in sustaining costs are expected to finish towards the top end of guidance, although Regis has left the range unchanged.
Regis also expects growth capital and exploration spending to remain within guidance.
