After selling out the initial exhibition space, Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME) has expanded the outdoor floor space, giving industry leaders more opportunities to showcase their products.
The outdoor area is the perfect location to display specialised and large-scale equipment across a range of product types.
QME will be held from 21–23 July at Mackay Showgrounds in Queensland, where thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors will gather for three days of innovation, networking, and industry engagement.
QME’s outdoor exhibition area is designed to accommodate all equipment types, including pumps, lighting solutions, solar products, generators, OEMs, fleets, modular buildings, and other vehicles and machinery, providing exhibitors with a high visibility platform to showcase their offerings outdoors.
Whether it’s heavy machinery or specialised fleet equipment, QME’s dedicated space allows companies to present their solutions in a context that reflects real-world applications and performance.
Prime Creative Media show director – mining events Rebecca Todesco said that building on the success of 2024 and with overwhelming industry demand, expanding QME’s outdoor expo area was an easy decision to make.
“QME’s outdoor area is a hub of activity and one of the most popular places at the event and the expanded outdoor expo area creates new opportunities for more people to get involved.
“This is an exceptional opportunity for suppliers to show off their products where the entire industry can see them, in an environment that encourages collaboration and discovery.” she said.
Several leading industry names have already secured their presence in QME’s outdoor exhibition area, highlighting the high demand and visibility this space offers. Confirmed exhibitors include Hastings Deering, Liebherr Australia, Hitachi Construction and Machinery, Epiroc, BROOKS / XCMG, Hidrive, H-E Parts Australia, Busch ANZ, MOTION, Kinetic, Ford Australia, and Norweld Australia.
These companies will be showcasing a range of cutting-edge equipment and solutions, giving visitors a first-hand look at the latest innovations in mining.
Now in its third decade, QME continues to be a cornerstone event for the Queensland resources sector. The event draws suppliers, contractors, engineers, and site personnel from across Australia and internationally. It combines world-class exhibition space with a compelling program of free-to-attend sessions, expert presentations, and networking opportunities, all tailored to the evolving needs of the mining and engineering industry.
“QME isn’t just a trade show,” Todesco said.
“It’s where people come to find solutions and check out the latest tech. The outdoor exhibition area makes it even better, giving equipment a spot to be seen and noticed in operation.”
