Schlumberger launches bore pumps

Schlumberger has debuted its Reda Maximus ESP systems for bore pumps.

Designed to reduce early failures and extend running life, Schlumberger has engineered an easy plug and play wellsite assembly process.

It features a MaxLok pothead design which eliminates the taping of electrical connections and reduces the time needed to make the connections.

It’s Maximus protectors and motors are factory oil filled with a high dielectric oil and incorporate the new MaxJoint ESP connection technology to preserve the factory filling while also avoiding trapping air during field connections.

In addition, it comes with in built features such as self lubricating polymer lined bearings, spring loaded keyed bearings ( to avoid spinning bearings), filters to ensure clean lubricating oil, a full steel motor design.

It is able to operate with a motor running temperature of up to 204ºCelsius.
