Russell Fraser Sales debuts inspection headlamps

Russell Fraser Sales have released Spectroline’s UV-A/White Light LED inspection headlamp.

Named the EagleEye, the hands free headlamp provides a new method for testing magnetic particle and fluorescent penetrant testing, as well as another other application where hands free operation is needed.

The headlamp produces a nominal steady state UV-A intensity of 5,500 µW/cm² at 38 cm and 1,300 µW/cm² at 70cm.

A built in fan keeps the 250 gram lamp cool, to maintain UV-A intensity during prolonged inspections.

It is powered by a single rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which provides up to 45 minutes of continuous inspection between charges.

The EagleEye inspection lamp is part of the EK-3000 kit, which also contains two ultra high intensity UV-A LEDS for NDT and mining inspection as well as three additional LED white lights for general illumination.

An adjustable strap allows it to be worn on a hard or directly on the head for hands free use.

The kit also includes a lamp mount/spray can attachment for single operator MPI/yoke inspection.
