Robotize makes future for used robots

ROBOTIZE have launched a new website, dedicated to the advertisement of used robots and robotic equipment.
The Robotize Marketplace is the newest addition to www.robotize.com.au, Robotize’s Wade Leslie said that the marketplace was developed after client frustration when needing to sell or buy a robot.
"To source a second-hand robot, you were forced to keep scanning loads of auction sites and sift through everything from tractors to pallet trucks to find one or two machines," he says. "The Robotize Marketplace has dozens of robots – and only robots – in one place."
Mr Leslie says that the Robotize Martketplace features reconditioned units complete with guarantees, from Australian Manufacturers who have surplus robots such as ABB.
"Some smaller businesses simply don’t have the budget to invest in the newest technology right away," said Mr Leslie. "A second-hand robot gives them the chance to test the technology before making bigger capital commitments."
"New robots are fast, flexible and more accurate. They are available with productivity enhancements and options, like vision, not found in older robots but there are plenty of applications where a second-hand robot will do the job just as well."
Robotize Marketplace is open to both buyers and sellers, offering a "no sale, no fee" guarantee, said Mr Leslie. You can browse used robots at www.robotize.com.au/marketplace.
