Power Parameters has released the Citec HDHC integrated server racks, which incorporate the dual Citec Rack Fan with control display panel.
The server racks are designed for use in high-power density computer rooms.
According to Power Parameters, the Citec HDHC integrated server racks eliminate ‘hot aisles’ with highly efficient rack cooling, allowing the downsizing of the air conditioning capacity.
The cool air supply, coming in through the perforated, raised computer room floor, is directed to the top of the Citec integrated rack by means of a dual, axial fan unit.
The hot air exiting from the server rack is then passed to the computer room cooling equipment.
Temperature sensors monitor inlet and outlet temperatures activate alarms when necessary.
