Parker Hannifin has unveiled its protective plating for products from its Parker’s Tube Fitting Division (TFD).

The plating has been designed to give increased protection against corrosion and salt spray to TDF fittings.

Giving greater protection against red dust, the fittings can now withstand the formation of red rust and oxidation, which typically degrades fittings.

In recent salt spray tests, the Parker TFD fittings remained free of red dust after 480 hours exposure, exceeding the standard SAE requirement of 72 hours salt spray with no red dust.
