Henkel Australia has announced the launch of new Best Ever Loctite243 and Loctite263 Threadlockers.
A Loctite threadlocker is a resin designed to harden in the absence of air and in presence of metal.
According to Henkel, the Loctite 243 has been enhanced from its existing model to offer improved high temperature performance and to cure through light oil contaminations, while maintaining a very reliable cure on passive metal surfaces.
The Loctite 263 High Strength Threadlocker is designed to offer reliable cure on passive metals, increased oil tolerance and improved high-temperature performance, all in one high-strength formulation, the company said.
Henkel said that the new products have been developed while maintaining the core properties of existing medium and high strength threadlockers.
The current Loctite Material Specification for Loctite 243, including appearance, fluorescence, viscosity and compressive shear strength, will remain unchanged for the new Loctite 243.
