Ideal Heatseeker infrared camera

Power Parameters has announced the release of the Ideal HeatSeeker infrared camera, designed for use in applications requiring the discovery and analysis of hotspots in machinery.

The Ideal HeatSeeker camera features the ability to display a combined visual and thermal image by virtue of its dual lens optical system.

Other features include highest, lowest and average temperature within a selected area, and a tracking mode in order to determine maxima and minima of temperatures within the infrared image.

The Ideal Heatseeker is also equipped with a USB port to permit export of data to a PC.

According to the company, it is possible for the camera to tag images by voice recording, or alphanumerically by means of a menu driven alphanumeric keyboard as well as date and time-stamping.
