ICP Electronics Australia has released of the IGS-3044GP, a managed Redundant Ring Ethernet switch with four 10/100/1000TX and four 1000BaseX SFP ports.

The company says the IGS- 3044GP can protect mission-critical applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with ultra-fast recovery technology.

The Ethernet switch also supports the functions of network management, such as SNMP, RMON and Port/Tag-based VLAN security.

The IGS-3044GP can be easily configured via a web browser or using a windows utility.

Network administrators can send event notifications through Syslog, Email, SNMP trap, or relay output, as well as segment ports into different VLANs.

To enhance the security, port access can be limited to user-defined IP addresses.

Network access is determined by QoS for traffic prioritisation.

Among its many features, the IGS-3044GP supports the new Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) function, which can instantly monitor the voltage, current and temperature status.
