Haulotte telehandlers has launched an Australian—developed Automatic Load Management System (LMS),
Haulotte is said to be the first global manufacturer to sign off on the Automatic Load Management System — developed and patented worldwide by Melbourne based Equipment Safety Systems (EQSS).
The system ensures the telehandler is safe and exceeds mandatory Australian Standards AS1418.19, AS1418.5 and AS1418.10 covering suspended loads over three tonnes.
The Automatic LMS programs the machine to electronically recognise the correct ‘tool parameters and rating charts’ for each of the many tools and implements that can be fitted to a machine.
The LMS analyses incoming data to automatically ensure the machine is operating within safe working limits.
The automatic tool recognition relieves the operator of the need to remember or manually re-set the machine’s in-built LMS (AS 1418.19) as it changes its on-site application.
The in-cabin LCD display module will reveal information fed back from sensors including tool identification, digital boom angle and length, hydraulic pressure, and more.
