Doosan Portable Power and Clarke Equipment will release the new XXHP1270/XHP1500FCAT open-frame air compressor at DRILL 2010 in South Australia on September 22 to 25.

According to Doosan the FCAT compressor will be used with drills where a high-flow and an extra-high pressure system is required, Doosan claims the compressor can be used on underbalanced applications such as nitrogen generation and offshore drilling.

The XXHP1270/XHP1500FCAT is powered by a 552 kW Caterpillar C-18T 6 Cylinder diesel engine, says Doosan, who claim that it is designed to run as clean as possible, and maximizing fuel efficiency.
The package has an aftercooler that will improve air quality by removing water from the air, and that the oil carryover is less than 2 parts per million, so filter membranes are less contaminated resulting in reduced oil cost between changes.

Clark Equipment operates extensive dealer and branch networks throughout Australia and New Zealand, servicing markets in the drilling, mining, industrial, construction and rural equipment industries.

Clark Equipment has established and supported Doosan Portable Power with Doosan wheel loaders and heavy excavators and Bobcat skid-steer loaders, utility vehicles, telehandlers and mini excavators.
