SICK has released a new range of measuring and switching distance sensors, designed to be immune to ambient light and maintenance-free.
Devices in the DT50 range have been designed for medium ranges of up to 10 metres.
The sensors feature rugged design with its IP65 zinc die-cast housing and exchangeable protective front screen for welding applications.
With a temperature range of from -30°C to 65°C, the DT50 is just as suitable for deep-freeze stores as for steelworks and hot rolling mills.
According to the company, users principally profit from the sensor’s rapid adjustability via an intuitive display menu, as well as its uncomplicated and precise alignment.
The DT50 range is designed to be suited to the most varied of positioning tasks, presence inspections and anti-collision solutions.
