Devex’s MineInside is a virtual‐reality software developed for planning, monitoring, reconstruction and analysis of scenarios from the actual mine site.
By integrating topographic data, digital maps, satellite images, GPS devices and telemetry system, theDevex MineInside platform reconstructs a three‐dimensional mine environment where equipment involved in the mine operations are placed and animated.
In addition to expanding the quality of mine processes’ visualization, MineInside also makes it more efficient to monitor the details of individual equipment activities. MineInside offers:
- Wide navigation: the user can "fly" over any selected area in any desired direction.
- Avatar Navigation: displays movements according to a human perspective. The avatar provides notions of proportionality.
For an effective monitoring of mining activities on the virtual reality platform, any data processing delay must be warned. MineInside enables the ongoing data integration from various sources. Digital map data and satellite images can be applied as layers of graphic information on the field.
