Unlike sprays and coatings, CouplerTec’s electronic systems are tried, tested, and proven to protect vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
CouplerTec’s technology ensures that protection reaches all of a vehicle’s inside and outside surfaces. The system also helps prevent stone chip damage from rust migration, and can be removed from one vehicle and installed in another.
The system’s life is indefinite because the electronics are solid state, with no moving parts, and the electronic board is completely sealed. Using the CouplerTec system prolongs the life of components such as brake and fuel lines, cooling and power steering tubes and electrical connectors, which significantly reduces the costs of maintenance and part-replacement. The system works by interfering with the oxidation cycle and stopping the electrochemical reaction of corrosion.This technology has two essential components: a power supply the size of a deck of playing cards, which runs off the vehicle battery; and a capacitive coupler, or pad, which is fixed to a painted metal surface on the vehicle and charged from the power supply.
