Brevini has expanded its epicyclic gear unit series.
The latest gear units have increased the capacity from 500 000Nm to 2 millionNm of continuous torque.
This range comes with more output haft options, and uses enhanced planet bearings, and improved rollers.
It also features a better sealing arrangement, larger oil ports and a more rugged adaption system for large electric motors.
Interchangeable with previous models, the output shaft versions cover female splined, hollow cylindrical for shaft mounting, male keyed cylindrical and male splined shaft.
It can be used for a range or applications throughout the mining industry.
