Aussie Pumps releases high-pressure cleaning equipment for mining

Australian Pump Industries has released a range of diesel-powered, high-pressure cleaning equipment aimed at supporting the mining and resources industry.

The pumps are available in range of pressure capabilities and sizes, from 2000 psi cold water machines through to 4000 psi steam cleaners.

The 4000 psi steam cleaner is powered by a 17 horsepower Kubota water-cooled diesel engine.

The ‘Hammerhead’ machine features a flow rate of 21 L per minute and a temperature change which is infinitely variable between ambient water temperature and 130ºC.

According to the company, the unit uses high pressure and steam to melt grease and shift dirt on earthmoving and mining equipment, without the use of costly chemicals or detergents.

The Hammerhead comes in a ‘Pro-Tect’ steel frame with built-in lifting eyes for transportation.

The cold water blasters are available with pressure ratings up to 7000 psi, flow rates up to 35 Litres per minute, Penta pumps and either Yanmar or Hatz diesel engines.

These heavy-duty cold water units come in heavy duty galvanised steel frame trolleys with off-road tyres for easy of movement on site.

All machines are available with a range of top quality accessories that include drain cleaning attachments, high pressure grit blasting kits, or turbo lances for faster cleaning duties.
