Piston gauge

AN INSTRUMENTATION manufacturer has released a differential piston gauge.

The gauge features a triple-piston assembly designed to calibrate differential pressure at 2900 psi (200 bar).

The model features a precision load cell.

The load cell supports the weight of the differential piston and serves as a null indicator to ensure the line pressure balance point. It also provides feedback to an active control system so that differential pressure produced is maintained when changing mass load.

The unit can be used to calibrate hydraulic or pneumatic pressure devices, including industrial or portable piston gauges, transducers, transmitters, gauges and pressure switches.

It offers accuracy of 40 ppm, and runs on Windows-based menu-driven software.
