OUTOKUMPU Technology’s global business name has changed to Outotec.
Outotec Australia managing director Neil Jagger says the change follows the sharemarket listing of Outokumpu Technology Oyj in October 2006, when it was agreed with the company’s former parent, Outokumpu Oyj, that Outokumpu Technology would change its name.
Outotec will be providing the same products and services which Outokumpu Technology has based its reputation on in the industry (including grinding, flotation, paste thickening and automation technologies, with its leading brands including SUPAFLO® and Tankcell®).
“With the new name, the company retains the keen vision to deliver ‘More out of ore’ to the benefit of all its stakeholders,” says Jagger.
