ASX-listed WorleyParsons has been awarded an offshore engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract by Neptune Energy.
The three-year EPCIC contract will service the Nova field tie-back to the Gjøa platform on the Norwegian continental shelf.
According to WorleyParsons, the contract will be executed from its Rosenberg office in Stavenger, Norway and will engage about 300 people at peak times.
The contract follows the completion of the front end engineering and design phase by the company.
WorleyParsons chief executive officer Andrew Wood commented: “We are delighted that Neptune Energy has chosen WorleyParsons for this significant brownfield modifications project.”
The Neptune Energy contract adds to a pair of wins announced by WorleyParsons last week. The company secured a general engineering services contract with Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) and a contract extension with Maersk Oil UK.
