Non-invasive gas sensor

FLEXIM has released a gas measurement sensor that can be clamped onto pipes without interrupting flow.

The company has developed an emission and signal treatment process in order to maximise the signal-to-noise-ratio of the sensor.

The sensor’s measurement algorithm adapts to varying applications and automatically optimises measurement.

The unit includes an integral transducer system that covers a broad nominal-width range and can be used pipes with different wall thicknesses.

The company has also developed transducers that operate with Lamb waves.

These transducers are attuned to a specific pipe wall thickness range and can be used at high flow velocities.
