The awards are an opportunity to celebrate the success of women who work in the mining industry.
The awards night, to be held on June 8, features 12 categories that showcase exceptional examples of industry advocacy, mentorship and broad sector excellence.
The Women in Industry Awards recognise outstanding women from across a range of industrials sectors; for example, those who work in mining, transport, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, bulk handling, waste management, rail and construction and infrastructure – all sectors that are traditionally male-dominated.
This is an opportunity to recognise the women who are driving change in industry and – in doing so – breaking down barriers and creating new possibilities for the next generation.
Awards range from Social Leader of the Year to Woman of the Year, but all exist to celebrate the exceptional work done by not just the nominees, but all women in these industries. They are a nod to their commitment, diligence and dedication.
