Aditya Birla's Nifty copper mine will deliver ore for the first time in four months after a cave-in forced the operation to close down earlier this year.
Last week the miner received the all-clear from the Department of Mines and Petroleum to recommence mining.
Aditya said it has completed a detailed stoping, development and production schedule and expects mining activities to restart this week.
It said a ramp up in production is set to be completed in August.
The company said it will aim to produce 16ktns to 18ktns during the remainder of the financial year.
In lifting the mining suspension, the DMP has ordered monthly updates on geotechnical monitoring and analysis, the proposed mining schedule and the progress of recommencement activities.
The cave-in saw 400 workers stood down on indefinite, unpaid leave.
Last week 109 Nifty employees accepted voluntary redundancies.
