Chevron has awarded WorleyParsons a contract extension to provide services to support its Australasian strategic business unit.

WorleyParsons will continue to provide brownfield engineering services to support the onshore and offshore Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG assets and the Barrow and Thevenard Islands oil assets in Western Australia.

The engineering contractor has held the existing contract for five years. The extension is for a further two years with options for one additional two-year term and an additional one-year term.

Andrew Wood, WorleyParsons chief executive officer, commented: “We are proud that Chevron continues to choose WorleyParsons and we look forward to growing our relationship with Chevron.”

WorleyParsons will execute the services from the company’s Western Australian office, with support from its other branches.
