Worker injured at Drayton

A worker has been airlifted from the Drayton coal mine after he was injured in a safety incident.

It is understood the 44 year-old worker was thrown around the cabin of his bulldozer, and may have suffered a pelvic fracture.

Newcastle Herald reported he was in a stable condition.
