Australian miner Wolf Minerals has awarded CA Blackwell a $140 million contract for its Hemerdon tungsten project.

According to Wolf the contract is made up of two parts, the first phase consists of mining pre-strip and mine development, while the second phase is mine production.

The first phase runs for 11 months from the start of the contract, while the second has a five year term from the completion of phase one.

It is expected that work will begin in March next year.
