What’s on show at CONEXPO 2017

Powerscreen Warrior 600 and Warrior 2400

This year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, exhibiting the latest mining equipment and technology.

The event takes place every three years, and this year, will run from March 7-11. It will feature more than 2500 exhibitors including Caterpillar, Terex Finlay, and Liebherr and host more than 150 education sessions on a range of topics including mining, earthmoving, lifting, aggregates and concrete.

This year’s event also features a new Tech Experience section, showcasing future technologies for the industry including drones, robotics, a 3D printed excavator.

Lincom Group will have representatives at the event, discussing the company’s powerscreen range, including the Powerscreen Premiertrak 600 jaw crusher, Powerscreen Warrior 600 screen, and 2400 screen. According to Lincom group, the warrior 600 is the most compact heavy duty mobile screen, featuring a 2.4m x 1.2m screenbox capable of 6g of acceleration.

The Warrior 2400 is designed for large scale operators, able to handle larger feed sizes and throughputs. It features a heavy duty incline screen with a high amplitude triple shaft drive mechanism, lending it to screening, scalping, two or three way splitting and stockpiling of materials such as coal and iron ore.

The Premiertrak 600 jaw crusher range includes both diesel-hydraulic and diesel electric varieties for increased uptime and low running costs. The machine’s high capacity jaw is fed by a vibrating grizzly feeder with variable speed control and a large grizzly area to maximise removal of fine material to extend the wear life of jaw plates within the crusher chamber

Sandvik will display its range of equipment and machinery, including the Sandvik CS550 cone crusher, which enhances the secondary step in the crushing process; the mobile Sandvik QJ341+ jaw crusher; and the UI310+ electrically driven wheeled impact crusher, featuring a pre-screen for increased efficiency.

Sandvik will also showcase its DT912D underground drill rig – a self-contained, diesel-hydraulic high reach jumbo – designed for faster and more accurate production drilling.

Superior Industries will also exhibit its crushing, washing and screening equipment at the event, including its Liberty Jaw Crusher, Patriot Cone Crusher and Valor Vertical shaft impactor.

Caterpillar will debut eight new machines among its range of equipment at the event, including the M317F Wheeled excavator, 986K wheel loader and a new 745 Articulated Truck.

In addition, Enerpac will feature its ‘new’ Jack-Up system, pneumatic and electric torque wrenches and a self propelled modular transporter, and Terex Finlay will display its recently released I-140 impact crusher.
