During the boom miners wages soared to massive heights, and even those at the bottom end of the mine raked it in, but now that the boom is well and truly gone, how have wages fared?
In the latest salary survey by Hays, it breaks down an average of which roles earn what, state by state.
Unsurprisingly WA still reigns supreme for the most part, closely followed by Queensland.
NSW, the Northern Territory, and South Australia make the middle of the pack, while Victoria and Tasmania bring up the rear in terms of general roles,
