Volvo lets four year old ‘test drive’ truck

Following on from using Jean-Claude Van Damme and hamsters to demonstrate its truck’s steering precision, Volvo has let a four year old drive its trucks to showcase its toughness.

In its last content marketing video a hamster drove one of the trucks, whilst Van Damme carried out his trademark splits between two other trucks to showcase their precision and directional stability.

The newest video has Volvo employ a four year old, Sophie Brown, with a remote control, to drive its FMX truck through a series of obstacles including marshes, swinging boxes, and a building to highlight “the toughest truck we’ve ever built”.

One of the main lessons we learnt from this video is don’t let four year olds drive.
