Truckie injured in iron ore roadtrain roll over

An iron ore roadtrain rolled this weekend, injuring the driver.

The truck, loaded with two trailers of iron ore, rolled on Saturday on its journey north from Koolnooka, according to The West.

The roadtrain reportedly veered onto the gravel verge, where the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to jack-knife and tip.

Its driver was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The incident blocked the road for a number of hours.

A man died earlier this year after his car collided with a roadtrain carrying mineral sands.
