A semi-trailer rolled over near the BHP Billiton
Yandi site on Monday.
Facebook comments revealed the truck was operated by
contractor Fulton Hogan.
It is understood by Australian Mining that the truck was
carrying hot bitumen when it tipped into a roadside drain.
A spokesperson for BHP Billiton confirmed the accident, and
said that no-one was injured as a result.
BHP Billiton has commenced internal investigations to
determine the cause of the incident.
Yandi is an iron ore mine, located in the Pilbara region, 90 kilometres north-west of Newman in Western Australia.
