Truck crashes into coal train

A truck has crashed into a coal train in Dalby, Queensland.

It ran into the train as it went through a crossing this morning, the Courier Mail reports.

The truck damaged the crossing lights and caused damage to one of the train’s carriages.
No one was injured.

Police are investigating why the truck driver did not see the train, despite the fact coal trains can often be many hundreds of metres long.
