Transmin signs deal to become Australia’s Yoshikawa circle feeder distributor

Transmin has signed a new agreement with Yoshikawa
Corporation to distribute their full range of circle feeders and associated
parts and servicing Australia-wide. Yoshikawa is the world leader in circle
feeder technology used in bulk materials handling operations across a vast
range of industrial sectors. The scope of the agreement covers all States and
Territories within Australia.

Transmin Capital Sales Manager Phil Gilbert explains
that circle feeders are a highly innovative and effective alternative to
traditional belt and screw feeders. Their circular motion guarantees consistent
draw-down of materials, ensuring ‘first-in, first-out’, while removing the risk
of material bridging and sludging, while also allowing the potential for
multiple material inlet/outlet points.

This leads to a more efficient and flexible handling
operation with reduced material wastage and spoiling, a more reliable flow, and
improved space-saving efficiencies, resulting in a healthy bottom-line.

Yoshikawa Corporation manufactures circle feeders for
virtually any commodity or material ranging from coal and powdered chemicals to
food and feathers.

According to Transmin General Manager Rob Rhodes,
the Yoshikawa range is in perfect alignment with Transmin’s own longstanding
specialisation in bulk materials handling equipment manufacturing. Noting that Yoshikawa
Corporation is a prime example of precision Japanese manufacturing with
innovation at the heart of their business, he said that the Yoshikawa range enables
Transmin to provide their clients with access to top-of-the-range feeder
technology.
