TNG appoints CEO

TNG yesterday announced the appointment of board member Paul Burton as the company’s CEO.

TNG yesterday announced the appointment of board member Paul Burton as the company’s chief executive officer.

Burton was originally appointed as TNG’s exploration manager in 2007 and then joined the board in late-2008.

According to TNG, he has made significant contributions to the management and development of the exploration portfolio since joining.

“Paul is a highly experienced exploration geologist and geochemist with over 20 years experience in exploration, mining and business development,” the company said.

“Before joining TNG, he held senior management roles with exploration companies throughout Australia and overseas, gaining significant experience in running programs for a variety of commodities.

“He is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), a fellow of the Association of Applied Geochemists and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.”
