Tinkler loses private jet and helicopter

Mining magnate Nathan Tinkler has lost the rights to his private jet and helicopter, after the company that holds them was placed in receivership.

Taylor Woodings receivers said yesterday another of Tinkler’s companies, TGHA Aviation, was in receivership and its assets were under review.

According to ABC News Tinkler’s 19-seat jet and seven-seat helicopter are worth around $45 million.

The aircraft are reportedly the only assets the company owns, and it did not employ any staff.

Two of Tinkler’s private companies, Patinack Farm Administration and Mulsanne Resources, are already in liquidation and two more are facing closure.

Mulsanne went bankrupt last month after it failed to pay back $28.4 million owed to coal junior Blackwood Corporation.
