Tenix wins Rio’s Argyle supply contract

Tenix SDR has won the contract to supply Rio Tinto’s Argyle underground diamond mine in the Kimberley.

The $174 million contract will see Tenix install crushers, conveyors and dewatering facilities nearly half a kilometer underground.

“We are excited to be working with Rio Tinto to complete this work,” Tenix executive manager Stuart Crofts said.

It will install two underground crushers, approximately 1.2 kilometres of conveyors, dewatering pump stations, as well as piping, electrical, instrumentation and control equipment.
