Syngas acquires engineering and quarrying business

Syngas has acquired a sand and aggregates quarry and a civil engineering business.

It has entered into a heads of agreement with CEAL and Multiquip Aggregates to acquire the businesses.

The acquisition includes all the equipment of the businesses as well as some of the staff.

CEAL is the owner of the Ardmore Park quarry, and holds development approvals to extract and transport around 400 000 tonnes of material from the site.

Multiquip aggregates and All Plant Earthworks is a transport, earthmoving, and contracting business which owns a number of trucks, earthmoving equipment, and crushing and screening machinery.

Syngas stated the “acquisition of the above companies and businesses will allow Syngas to quickly move into an operations mode where Multiquip Aggregates has mobile plant and experienced personnel and CEAL a granted development approval for extraction of aggregate, road base, and construction sand from resources on its ‘Ardmore Park’ property”.
