Swift Networks, in partnership with DXC Technology, will deploy its entertainment and crew welfare solutions for the benefit of oil and gas personnel in Australia’s north-west.
The five-year contract will see Swift provide services to between 2500–4600 rooms annually in onshore and offshore locations.
Swift will provide a broad range of services, including entertainment, infrastructure refresh, messaging and alerts, health, welfare and training material, free-to-air television and pay TV integration, in addition to 24×7 support over the term.
The deal will deliver more than $1.5 million in project revenue, as well as ongoing monthly service and support fees. It adds new locations to Swift’s portfolio, while also including a 60-month renewal of certain services provided at two sites where contracts were coming to an end.
Swift chief executive officer Xavier Kris said the deal was its first as part of the DXC partnership, which was announced late last year.
“Our reseller relationships, which also include Telstra, AST and Tripleplay, are producing pleasing results demonstrating that our strategy is being delivered as planned and we look forward to continued growth in conjunction with our partners,” Kris said.
Swift’s connectivity and content delivery platform runs at more than 310 sites in 65,000 rooms for a variety of industries, including mining, oil and gas.
