EMPLOYEES from Jaques have celebrated over 120 years of continuous trade with a reunion of more than 160 employees.

The company has enjoyed the respect of its employees with many employees serving the company for several decades.

Honour boards that once adorned the Richmond factory walls list more than 100 employees having served a quarter of a century or more.

Staff records show that many longevity milestones have been achieved from the almost 800 employees who have been employed since establishment in 1885.

Since establishment in 1885 three staff served for 60 years or more, nine notched 50 plus years, 23 have recorded 40 plus years and 49 staff have 30 plus years of service, according to Jaques.

Since foundation by the Jaques family, the company has been owned by three companies — Clyde Industries, Evans Deakin Industries and now Terex Corporation.
