Southern Cross Electrical Engineering has been awarded a subcontract for work at BHP’s Jimblebar iron ore mine.

The work, awarded by the Sedgman Civmec joint venture, includes the design, supply, and installation of overhead powerlines.

It has been valued at around $10 million.

“I am pleased to be able to announce these awards and look forward to working with SCJV at Jimblebar,” SCEE CEO Graeme Dunn said.
