Southern Cross Electrical wins two Rio Tinto contracts

SCEE has won two new electrical infrastructure for Rio Tinto's Cape Lambert and East Intercourse Island projects.

The two contracts, worth approximately $10 million, are part of Rio's wider electrical infrastructure replacement program for the two projects, which will see SCEE replace and refurbish electrical equipment on the sites.

It comes less than a month after SCEE was awarded electrical and engineering contracts for Rio's Cape Lambert Port B phase 1 development project.

The latest contracts are scheduled to begin immediately and run for around 12 months.
