The South Australian Government has fast tracked a planned deepwater port on the Eyre Peninsula.

The South Australian Government has fast tracked a planned deepwater port on the Eyre Peninsula.
Expected to cost over $440 million, the port at Sheep Hill is projected to become a major export point for grain and minerals.
“The Eyre Peninsula needs a specialised deepwater port with a terminal and storage facilities if we are going to unlock the enormous mining welfare for exports for the future," the State’s premier Mike Rann stated.
