Prospectors of Segue Resources in Western Australia have announced discovery of several gold nuggets in the Mallina Basin.
Segue Resources, a mid-tier explorer of gold, nickel and lithium in WA, said the nuggets were discovered as part of nine conglomerate or basement gold targets.
The Mallina Basin is home to several explorers, and Segue’s tenements in the region are bordered by three De Grey prospects; Toweranna to the west; the recently acquired Blue Moon to the east, and the Indee Project to the north-northeast.
Other Segue prospects in WA include the Gascoyne lithium-tantalum project, Pardoo nickel-copper-iron project (49 per cent interest), and Fraser Range project, which encompasses the Plumridge nickel-gold and Deralinya projects. Segue also owns a 100 per cent interest in the Barlee gold project in the Eastern Goldfields.
Prospecting and exploration of the company’s Pilbara gold project tenements is due to begin in the first quarter of 2018, pending all relevant approvals.
