Sedgman has signed a contract with BMA to upgrade the coal preparation plant at its Saraji coal mine.
The award, worth approximately $27.7 million, is an EPC contract to upgrade the plant and extends Sedgman's existing relationships with BMA and BHP at its coal projects across its Queensland's Bowen Basin.
The upgrade is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2013.
Sedgman CEO Nick Jukes said the company is extremely pleased to secure this contract.
"It further strengthens Sedgman's relationship with BMA and BHP," Jukes said.
