Australian mining company Realm Resources has announced that its managing director Glen Lewis has resigned for personal reasons.
Lewis will support Realm for a short period while the company’s management searches for his replacement.
“I have worked with Glen for over 20 years and have appreciated his concern for those he has led, his dedication and focus,” said Realm chairman, Gordon Galt.
“At Realm, he has made major contributions to the establishment of a culture of excellence at the company’s operations and corporately.
“Of particular importance, he has developed positive relationships with Realms’s joint venture partners at the Foxleigh Mine, Nippon and Posco.
“The board and staff of Realm thank Glen for his work while at Realm and we wish him well for the future.”
Lewis’ leaving date and other interim arrangements will be advised in the next fortnight.
