Sandvik unveils new cone crusher

Sandvik’s new CH540 cone crushers have a low environmental impact and increase production capacity, eliminate bottlenecks, and reduce cost per tonne produced.

They come with the new automation and control system, SanRemo for Crushers, and feature a high capacity in relation to size and a dump valve that ensures quick, safe tramp relief if something unbreakable gets into the crusher.

Their weight is 12,500kg, with a maximum permitted power of 250kW and a capacity between 39 and 295tph.

The crushers do not use plastic backing compound to attach the manganese, allowing fast change of manganese to maximise uptime and make the work environment safer.

They have reduced noise emissions, minimum use of welding in the crusher, and have maintenance friendly ‘smart’ spare part kits, ensuring workers have all the necessary spare parts in place.
