Swedish mining equipment manufacturer Sandvik has released its simplest and most productive DTH hammer model yet — RH560 down-the-hole hammer — designed for durable, low-cost, high-impact drills.
Sandvik RH560 has been designed to boost productivity. It boasts a 15 per cent increase in penetration rate in varying rock condition – due to its smoother collaring and straighter blastholes – and is capable of drilling larger holes at the same speed as a smaller hole with a standard hammer, which delivers cost-saving benefits to customers.
Among its other standout features, RH560 champions its users’ preference by coming without a foot valve, which lowers cost, while delivering high energy transfer for maximum productivity.
Sandvik RH560 combines its predecessors Sandvik RH460’s reliability and Sandvik RH510’s simplicity.
